Dan Worrall just published this really awesome tutorial on kind of an advanced concept. Something I hadn’t thought to do ever before. Using opposite EQ curves to counteract unwanted distortion, and fine tune processors, without actually changing the audible curve.
This tutorial describes a technique that’s been in use for almost a hundred years, and shows how we can use it to shape non linear processes such as distortion, saturation or compression.
Mind blown. I can definitely use this and looks to be well worth the set up time.
Doesn’t Dan have a great presentation style too? You should subscribe to his channel.
