In this video we’ll look at 3 types of headphones you will want to have for your home studio, and 2 types that you won’t, and why.
- Closed back headphones – Good isolation, sound quality not as accurate as others
- Open back headphones – no isolation, very accurate sound
- Semi open headphones – good balance of isolation and natural sound
- In-ear headphones – good isolation, sound is not accurate unless custom fit for your ears. Generally not recommended
- Bluetooth and noise cancelling headphones – too much latency and compromise to sound to recommend.
