How to make your project slow down as a mix effect. I like to do this as a way to end a song, a variation of the long fade out.
1 – Show Master track in Arrange
2 – Show Playrate envelope
3 – Add envelope points to automate the changes
4 – Right-click the transport rate control and uncheck preserve pitch
5 – On the master track add a low pass filter, automated through the slowdown.
Note – Render or Freeze MIDI tracks or you won’t hear the effect correctly.
