I just wanted to make my own presets in XO and this happened…
My saved presets sounded different every time I auditioned them. Why?
XO has a feature called Search & Filter, which allows you to swap out different sounds in the kit easily with various filters. Its easy to overlook that window and you might not know when it is active. That’s the problem I ran into when making presets this week. It turned on when I made a search in the Space window, not realizing it would be active in the Presets page as well. I deleted everything and started over before I realized what was happening.
Seriously though, XO is fantastic and you should get it at the next sale.
