I had some old, but still good working hardware fx sitting around that I wanted to keep using. I gave it a dedicated part of my desk, wired it up, and made it useful again. Here’s how I integrated my TC Electronic G-Sharp, and Alesis MIDIVerb3, through a lightpipe AD/DA converter into my REAPER setup, including preset switching with custom .reabank files in ReaControlMIDI.
These particular devices are not special, but it feels good to have them running again with minimal inconvenience.

If you have some old rack gear lying around, consider integrating it into your Reaper setup. With a little effort, you can give these devices a new lease of life and add some unique character to your productions.
