Some changes are coming to Mouse Modifier shortcuts, this new script from Sockmonkey72 will ease the transition: MoM Toggle: Mouse Modifier Toggle Action Generator
If you sometimes have the feeling that your mouse has no more mods to give, this utility is for you. Laptop users, ‘simple mouse’ users, etc. might not have 3 buttons, spare modifier-key fingers, muscle memory or cognitive capacity to remember everything assigned to your mouse modifiers. I sure don’t.
This tool will generate toggle ReaScript Actions (or one-shot, non-toggle Actions) which you can use as the basis for Mouse Modifier sets or modes for your REAPER workflow.
TL;DR
- actions to change mouse modifier defaults will be removed in v7, breaking some existing workflows
- this script allows fast save and recall of all mouse modifiers as presets
- this script generates toggles and one-shot actions for changing mouse modifiers
