REAPER’s Monitoring FX chain is a global chain (as in for all projects) and the final gain and processing stage between the REAPER mixer and your audio interface. It’s the ideal place to put metering and room calibration plugins. Anything that you would want to hear in your speakers but not applied to the rendered mix goes here.
Access the Monitoring FX Chain through the View Menu
