There’s a lot of switching going on. As the mantra goes “Never push loyal person to the point where they no longer give a fuck.”
That was quite interesting to look 🙂
Explaining REAPER to beginner in REAPER people is always interesting, no matter their level in other DAW.
If they come from different DAW, they have different expectation, different questions, and they sometimes have questions about something that we never think about (because it was instinctive, or because they have different workflows). We, and Cockos have a lot to learn from these people.
Good luck to Ryan’s in REAPER adventure !
@theaudiogeek @reaperblog @RyanCanestro This is the greatest video ever. Thank you so much for making it. It’s exactly what I needed.
[…] The day after we recorded this episode Jon and Ryan got together for a REAPER tutorial. You can watch this on the REAPER Blog. […]
RE: Ryan’s Switch To REAPER
Been a user for years, but I still learned a few things.
Thanks again John!
This was awesome! I learned a lot of new Reaper tips. Thanks for recording it!
Jon, thanks! You convinced me to buy a licence. BTW, might want to check the spelling of your title.
Fixed, thank you.
Could you possibly direct me towards info on this, but for reaper off course: http://bit.ly/1GKUnIf – about half way down the page it says “Assigning each MASCHINE Sound Slot to receive MIDI information from Ableton Live” which is what I believe I want to do in Reaper.
best
simple, just use a send to the MIDI device and choose a different channel for each track.
hmmm..cheers!
