2015 was a great year for REAPER users. Not only did version 5 come out, but it was the year I decided to really dig in and make great content for the blog on a regular basis. Yeah I’m patting myself on the back but there’s no one else nearby to do it at the moment.

Here are the top 10 posts of 2015 according to the site stats.

  1. REAPER in Shangri-La – Designing demon voices for Far Cry 4
  2. Tour of new features in REAPER 5
  3. Working with takes in REAPER
  4. Low cost control surface ideas for REAPER
  5. Customizing the new V5 default theme
  6. Your Biggest Frustration with REAPER Reader Poll Results
  7. Mixing in REAPER Vol 1
  8. REAPER 5 video editing template
  9. Reascript Basics with Raymond Radet Part-1
  10. Why can’t REAPER be exactly like Pro Tools?

This was the year REAPER stated to get really good with video, not just playback but actually editing it. I put out about 70 videos for the blog last year, the majority of them were edited in REAPER.

From the YouTube channel, here are the 5 most liked videos of 2015

  1. Tour of new features in REAPER 5
  2. REAPER 5 video editing template
  3. Drum sample replacement in REAPER
  4. Using stretch markers in REAPER
  5. Quick tip – pencil tool workflow in REAPER

Those are the community’s favorites, but they aren’t my favorites. Here are 5 that I don’t think got enough attention.

  1. ReaPitch tutorial
  2. REAPER 5 FAQ
  3. Linking a MIDI controller to track controls in REAPER
  4. Pencil tool workflow
  5. Tantra plugin review

Making all this great content takes a lot of time and effort and to continue I need some money occasionally. If you love what I’ve been doing with the REAPER Blog you can support it/me through buying something on the products page or with a donation.
