In this video I explain multiple options for working with slow motion video shot on iPhone in REAPER. What are AAE files and more.

These same techniques apply to any high frame rate footage (from any camera) you bring into the project that you want to stretch out and slow down.

When shooting video on an iPhone, we have the option of Slow-Mo mode which is a high frame rate recording with automatic speed ramps to slow down the video.
The video options are 240fps at 720p or 120fps at 1080.

When it comes to editing this footage on the computer we’ll have to recreate the speed change. We can work with these video files in a number of ways to get the slow motion effect exactly how we like for our video project.
