With REAPER it’s possible to select two recording folders and record to them simultaneously, providing an automatic backup of everything you record.
In this video we’ll go through the steps to set this up.

 

TLDR:
Project settings/Media – set secondary recording path
Track Recording settings – “record to audio path: primary + secondary as invisible backup”

    …quick question: so if one of your drives fails and you have another still going what happens? Does reaper continue to record? Because on pro tools a failed hard drive would cause pro tools would end the recording…
