Released July 23 2020, 6.13 is a smaller update but does include a few interesting new features/changes that I’d like to show you.

The action list got a small redesign to consolidate some functions into fewer buttons.

00:00 – INTRO
00:39 – Action list: reduce ReaScript/Custom Action button redundancies
01:39 – Action list: auto-populate editor with selected actions when creating new custom action
02:08 – Automation: actions to insert envelope point at current position and not remove nearby points
action to add/edit envelope point exactly at cursor
03:18 – Media import: support pasting files from explorer/finder directly into arrange view
04:07 – Recording: support automatically creating folders (including based on wildcard substitution) for recorded files
06:06 – Render: support / (create folder) in target filename
$folders wildcard for rendering/recording, to create disk folder structure based on track folders

    Cool. Now export is feature-rich to export to mixing, then mastering.

    Hi! Do you know if there’s a way to disable the “automatically creating folders” in some way? In my workflow I used to use \ to rename items but now when I do so and glue them it creates folders and weird characters on my files that are not recognizable in some other machines.

    I had to downgrade to the last 5.x branch, because the 6.x plays back my input–with high latency–at full volume. I don’t need my DAW doing redneck monitoring. Monitoring is built-in in my audio interface.
