Today I’m doing a quick showcase of SBP_ReaWhoosh, a free ReaScript/JSFX for generating interesting Whoosh sound effects with an intuitive interface that removes a lot of the pain points for making these sounds.
Install this script through ReaPack using the Repo link below
After install, search the Action list for “ReaWhoosh” and run the script.
Make a time selection, then press Generate in the script.
Audition, randomize, and tweak your settings until you’re happy.
When you find something to keep, click Bounce to render the audio to a new track.
Important – This script also requires the following extension to be installed via ReaPack: ReaImGui: ReaScript binding for Dear ImGui

Looks good, but I’m getting “sbp_ReaWhoosh.lua:27: attempt to call a nil value (field ‘ImGui_CreateContext’)” when I run it.
You’re missing one of the required extensions, find this in ReaPack
ReaImGui: ReaScript binding for Dear ImGui
Thanks
Works well now, thanks for highlighting it.
PS Sorry, now I’ve stopped rushing and actually read your instructions I can see your “Important” message that states you need ImGUi.
Hey no worries. I added that after your message. We got a lot of comments on youtube about it on day 1 but I forgot to update here until you commented.
This is amazing, but I have to admit I find myself pining for the exact same interface but aimed at whatever automations exist on the target track.
