The app I’m using on the iPad is Tayasui Sketches. The $9 pro upgrade is well spent for layering, more tools and many more brushes. Another option, a little more expensive but much more feature rich is Procreate.

Hey Jon! Is it possible to create video assets like this? Basically short videos with an alpha channel instead of pngs. Preferably not GIFs. does this kind of format even exist?
ProRes 4444 has alpha channel but I haven’t found a good tool free for making them. I was looking into it for OBS overlays.
Looks like Resolve probably can but I haven’t tried.
reaper can’t export with alpha channel.
I’ve been making GIFs with GIMP but it’s such a pain even for a simple-ish animation
I’m pretty sure Keynote can export with transparency. It may be an easier way to do assets like you showed in the previous video as well. It may be easier to move things around in Keynote then to play with automation in REAPER. I played with this in an old video of mine about masks in the video processor.
I gotta come back to the masks thing. Feels like I’m under utilizing them.
Any suggestions for similar apps for android devices?
