ReaVerbate is not a great sounding reverb. It’s honestly kind of crappy.
That’s kind of what makes it cool in my opinion.
It’s also one of the free plugins included with REAPER, so it’s good to know how to use it effectively, and how it sounds on various sources.
I made up a set of presets (starting points) to share with you and a video demonstrating them on guitars, percussion and drums. Some of these presets are really cool and can totally work in a mix.

To install, click the + button beside the preset selector and choose import preset library.
When you get time to try them out, let me know how you like them.
TL;DR
ReaVerbate controls explained:
– Wet: Output of the reverb.
– Dry: Direct sound.
– Room size: How big the room is.
– Damping: How much absorbent materials are in this space. The higher the value the more dense the sound (more high frequency reduction).
– Stereo Width: 1.00 is the default panning value. It is going to match of whatever you are sending into it. 0 is mono. -1 reverses the panning.
– Initial Delay: Pre delay value. Time it takes for the reverb to start.
– Lowpass: Cutting high frequencies out of the reverb signal.
– Highpass: Cutting low frequencies out of the reverb signal.

Thank you very very much!!!
P.S. Couldn’t find the presets for my sorrow.
Couldn’t find the preset, subscribed, but nothing happened.
Should be there in the confirmation email
Just got it, thanks!
The “Subscribe to our mailing list” form at reaperblog.net/subscribe/ in Chrome, IE, and Firefox, and the Subscribe button does not appear to be working for people who are already subscribers to your blog.
I ultimately had to give a different email address and then at least the form cleared when I clicked the Subscribe button, so it appeared that my entry might have been registered. But it would be nice to see something indicating that my subscription has been recorded and that I would be receiving a confirmation email. The confirmation email arrived at the second address, and I confirmed it in hopes of having access to the reverb downloads (which sound pretty cool), but to no avail. I was not directed to the download screen you display in the comments.
problem solved via email.
Nice presets!
What is the song in 4:20? i heard before in your tutorial on The Pro Audio Files.
That’s the song used in Mixing In REAPER Vol 2
I can’t seem to download? I click the link(s) but it just gives me a page with source code. Should I be using a different browser?
That’s probably fine. Just hit save in your browser.
I’m sorry, I don’t understand?
I got it, thanks!
Hi-how can I acquire these presets if I’m already a subscriber? Do I need to do what Curtis Long described above?
it’s linked at the bottom of each email, last one was sent Jan 3rd.
Cool video! I really like it. I saw some presets for Ableton Live also that I liked. Excited to see your presets since I just got into Reaper!
