REAPER 6.80 is out now and in it there are some small, but really nice changes. Some highlights are setting snap offset of item to mouse cursor, better handscroll/Zoom, and hold shift to create folder when dragging track order.
Users are reporting great performance improvements with fx processing on folder tracks due to changes with Anticipative fx in this update.

    How things tend to transpire, right?

    There was this guy, announcing to deactivate Anticipative fx performance, just as you were doing this video. I can only imagine how that must have sounded to you – like fingernails on a blackboard.

    And you were right, too: I updated my installation with 6.80 yesterday, on track with the portable. Loaded some old projects that had never run decently.

    It’s all clean playback now.
