In this stream clip I answer a question about activating the Razor edit tool with a shortcut instead of clicking in the main toolbar.
The action is actually called “Mouse Modifiers: Toggle arrange view mouse modifiers override B”.
Armed actions run with every left-click. To arm an action usually this is done by right-clicking the toolbar icon, but it can also be done from the action list.
You may want to try the action “Action: Toggle arm next action” within a custom action, along with one or more additional commands.
